The eighth edition of the Hotel Tapa Tour was held in Barcelona last May and in Madrid in September, with a total participation of 46 hotels and a new attendance record.
On the last day of the event, the final of the National Awards "Tapa Alimentos de España y D.O. Ribera del Duero" and "Tapa Fusión Alimentos de España y D.O. Ribera del Duero" took place, in which the finalist hotels from all over the country participated.
Almanac Barcelona attended the contest as a finalist of the Barcelona edition and representative of our city for the category "Tapa Fusion Alimentos de España and D.O. Ribera del Duero", with the iconic "Kimchi dumplings with probiotic emulsion" from Virens by our chef Rodrigo de la Calle, harmonized with Cava Pedregosa 2020, D.O. Cava.
At Virens we are happy to have been one of the finalists of this edition of the festival with one of our most distinctive and representative tapas.
